STEVEN LAMAR: The Creator

I’m Steven Lamar, a filmmaker and storyteller creating cinematic, human work rooted in visibility and growth. This is my Out The Shell era: choosing to live on my own terms and tell the kinds of stories that feel true.

At my core, I’m a creator. I’ve spent close to two decades working across film, music videos, corporate storytelling, weddings, design, and photography. That experience built the craft, discipline, and professionalism behind Steven Lamar Creates, my business and creative home base. Out The Shell is the journey that gives it meaning: the philosophy, the stories, the why.

My work lives at the intersection of craft and meaning. Every frame, edit, and design choice is intentional, built to deepen the story and create connection. From corporate teams and heartfelt wedding films to award-recognized short films, I’m drawn to projects that feel honest and leave an impression.
